Betware and Microgaming reach agreement

Betware has recently announced an agreement which licenses them to market Microgaming casino games. Betware, a software company that specializes in technical services and solutions within the gaming industry will now be able to sell Microgaming's casino games in addition to its existing platform, to state lotteries.
Microgaming, which has been in business for more than a decade, is the largest online gaming software provider in the industry. Their casino games are leaders in the online casino industry. Betware, which has been providing online lottery solutions since 1996, already has an impressive suite of games which includes instant games, Bingo, sports betting, racing, lotto, skill, casual and multi player games. They will now be able to include 85 casino games from Microgaming into their selection.
Stefan Hrafnkelsson, Chief Executive Officer of Betware stated: "We are very proud and excited to be licensed to sell and market Microgaming's casino games to growing markets. This agreement significantly expands our product offering, and provides our customers with a great opportunity to leverage on the fantastic success of the Microgaming brand. Ultimately we believe that this venture will not only be beneficial for the state lotteries we service, but for both ourselves and Microgaming too."
Microgaming CEO, Roger Raatgever reported that they are "delighted to be able to license our casino games to Betware, which is truly a market leader in its field. Betware's long history in gaming combined with its extensive lottery network will be beneficial in pushing the Microgaming brand into exciting new territories and markets. We look forward to a long and successful working relationship."
The deal between Betware and Microgaming comes on the heals of a deal between Playtech and lottery supplier, Scientific Games, which formed Sci Play, just this past January. It is another indication of the rapidly increasing lotteries market.
